The Ilalle Hill Organization is a Colorado 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in October 2023. It is driven by compassion, resilience, hope, love, and gratitude. The organization's name, "Ilalle," which means "thank you" in the Didinga language of South Sudan, holds great significance. It was chosen in deep gratitude for God's healing, providence, care, support, prayers, contributions, love, and counseling received from people around the world.
Our work involves the following:
Transformative Impacts in Disability Advocacy, Healthcare, and Education for Refugees and Immigrants in Colorado and Displaced Refugees in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kenya settlements.
The Ilalle Hill Organization symbolizes God's revelation of power, intervention, and the transformational force of thankfulness, solidarity, and unshakable faith. The life of Ilalle Jeremiah Lokonobei, the eldest child of the Lojohomoi and Concenta families, inspired and reinforced the foundation of faith in God. Ilalle was born with a genetic disorder, Downs syndrome, which affects physical, mental, and developmental growth. Born in 2017 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, his journey included months in the hospital, inspiring the family to assist others facing similar challenges.
The history of the Ilalle Hill Organization is deeply rooted in the solidarity, enthusiasm, and prayers of the Lojohomoi and Concenta families. Faced with health difficulties, the family united with a shared dedication to Ilalle's welfare, supported by love, prayers, and steadfast support from the church and community members. This shared determination defined their journey as they overcame emerging challenges.
The family found comfort and resilience through prayers, strengthening them during uncertain times. Their commitment to ensuring Ilalle grew up as a happy and healthy child evolved into a larger mission beyond their close friends and family. Their perseverance was the driving force behind the founding of the Ilalle Hill Organization, a testament to their shared desire to improve the lives of others facing similar difficulties.
